This is an extra special Valentine's as it is the first day of practice for the halfpipe at the Olympics... I am lucky to have Greg Bretz my boyfriend here also practicing and getting ready to compete in the men's halfpipe event. Traditionally people love to do something special on Valentine's Day, like an extra nice dinner or a special show. Obviously for us practicing and competing is the priority so we decided to just relax and take advantage of some time to chill before our nighttime practice. I wasn't expecting anything for Valentine's and just after breakfast a beautiful flower arrangement showed up at the front door. There is nothing better than having fresh flowers around to make you smile! While we didn't do anything special for the day, I did get to spend it enjoying something I love to do, snowboarding, and I got to come home to some beautiful flowers, I couldn't ask for more. :)
