| High Cascade Snowboard Camp
I just got back from a great session up at High Cascade Snowboard Camp, I believe it was my 7th time up to Mt. Hood for some summer snowboarding. It was their second session of the summer and they asked me come up and host a signature session for the camp. Of coarse I could not pass up some good time on-hill, plus all my favorite things about Government Camp, so I headed up to Oregon for some shred time, Volcano cones, Huck's shakes, and Cobra Dogs...
During the week I hosted contests for kids to win prizes such as a three-legged race, an egg toss, handstand contests, headstand contests, ro-shambo, and a beat boxing contest. It is amazing what campers will do to win some sweet stuff.
Along with all these games, the main activity of the week was snowboarding. Cascade has an amazing set up this year; jump lines, rail lines, a 22ft halfpipe, an airbag jump, plus it was all accessible from various rope tows! This made the days on-hill never ending fun...
As the week came to an end I had one last Volcano cone and said goodbye to High Cascade and all the campers for the rest of the summer. There really is no place like summer camp, especially one that feels like winter. Thanks Cascade for another great trip!
